AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3,339.22 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund in
the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract price for the
improving of certain streets included in contract dated June 23rd, 1926
as follows:
Curbing, guttering and excavating Ellsworth Avenue and College
Avenue-------------------------------------------------- - ----- $3,142.02
Excavating Baker Street -------------------------------------- 197.20
Total------------- $3,339.22
Section 2. That Temporary Notes of the City of Salina..
Kansas be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Notes to be payable on or
before 90 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of six
per cent (6%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
