AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI+IMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS.
Section 1. That the sum of $4391.902 heretofore collected
by the Water Works Department of City of Salina, since the second
of January, 1926, for water rentals due to the Salina Water Works
Company for water furnished to consumers prior to the second of
January, 1926, and which upon its collection by the Water Works
Department was deposited in the Water Works Department Fund of
said city, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of said
fund to the Salina Water Works Cos.;•any for the purpose of reim-
bursing said company for the amount so collected for it by said
Water Works Department.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by City Manager upon
the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section 1 of this Ordinance.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
