Air Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim.
BE.IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated out of
the Unexpended Balance of the Water and Light Fund for 1925 the sum
of $23,600.00 to be paid to the Salina Water Works Company.inppart
payment of the judgment of The Sakdna Water Works Company against
the City of Salina for hydrant rental and water furnished to the City
of Salina prior to January lets 1926.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be -'in
full force from and after its passage.
