3244 AppropriationsORDINANCE-NO2-3244 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims. BE IT ORDAINED BY,the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of $11,565.49 be and th"e"same is hereby appropriated to L. -;d. Rexroad from the Special -Paving Fund -in the --City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract price for the improving of certain streets included in contracts dated April 5th, 1926s as follows: Widening Seventh Street .from Walnut ti Elm -------------- ----- $8,225.02 Curbing, excavating & surfacing with sand clay Lincoln Avenue, Tenth Street and Thirteenth Street------------------------------------------------------- 30340.47 Total ------------ $11,565.49 Section 2. That Temporary Notes of the City of Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claims mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Notes to be payable"on or before 90.days from date, and to draw interest at the rate" of six per cent (6%) per annum.
