An Ordinance amending ordinance No. 3188 by adding certain lands to tjb
"C" Commercial District and the "B" Residence District, and
eliminating the same from the Use District in which they are
now located, and by adding certain lands to the "C# Area
District and eliminating the same.from the "A" Area District,
as defined in said Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended to the
Board of Commissioners that certain changes, as hereinafter set out in this
Ordinance, be made in Ordinance No. 3188 by adding certain lands to the "C"
Commercial District and the;"B" Residence District As defined therein and
by adding_oertain land to the "B" Area District as defined therein of which
proposed changes public notices have been given,by publication in The Salina
Journal, once each week for more than thirdy days prior to the dates fixed
in sif& notices for public hearing, on said proposed changes, and whereas
at the meetings so held pursuant to said notices no objections were made to
said proposed changes, now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described territory in the
City of Salina, Kansas to -wit: Lots 110, 111, 112. -and 113 on Iron Avenue,
according to the plat of the original town of Salina; the South 50 feet
of Lot 5 Block 12 South Park Addition; Lots 1, 2 and 3. Block 5, Southern
Heights Addition; Lots 99, 101, 103, 105, 107, 1090 111 and 113 on Fourth
Street and Lots 94, 96, 98, 100, 102, 1043 106, 108, 110, 112,,114, 116,
118, 120 on Third Street according to the plat of the original town of
Salina, Lots 2 and 4 in Block 2 and Lots 1 and 3 in Block 3 Episcopal
Military Institute Addition be and each of said tracts and parcels of land
are hereby added to and made a part of the "C" Commercial District as de-
fined in Section 5 of Ordinance No. 3188 and that such lands may be used
for the purpose designated in Section 10 of said ordinance.
Section 2. That the following described terbitory in
the City of Salina, to -wit: Lots 9, 10 and 11 Block 1 in Fruitland Addition,
be and the same are hereby added to the "B" Residence District as defined
in Section 4 of said Ordinance No. 3188 and that the same may be used for.
the purpose designated in Section 9 of said Ordinance..
Section 3. That said territory to -wit: Lots 9s 10 -and
11 Block 1, in Fruitland Addition be and the same are hereby added to the
"C" Area District as definedin Section 18 of said Ordinance -No.. 3188 and
that the same shall be subject to the regulations for said Area District
as provided in Section 20 of said ordinance No. 3188.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its publication in the official City paper.
