AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of 09=issioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas;
Section 1. That the sum of $2,732. 75 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to L. IN. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund in
the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract price for the
improvingT certain streets included in contracts dated April 5th, 1926)
as follows:
Widening Seventh Street from Walnut to Elm $1811.35
Excavating & surfacing with artificial sand claV
Lincoln Avenue from Ninth to Tenth and
Tenth Tee rom Lincoln to Gradd-------- 921.40
Total ---------- $2732.75
Section 2. That Temporary Notes of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claims mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Notes to be payable on or
before 90 days from date and to draw interest at the rate of six (6/)
per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.

of Ualina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $2,732.75 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the
Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment
of 85% of the contract price for the improving of certain
