AN ORDINANCE amending Otdinance No. 3188 by adding certain territory
to the 110 Commercial District as defined by Section 5
of said.Ordinance and permitting the use of said territory
for the purposes as defined in Section 10 hhereo£.
WHEREAS, thebCity Planning Commission did on January 5th, 1926
recommend to the Board of Commissioners that they territory hereinafter
described, now situated in the "A" Residence District as defined by
Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3188, be designated as a part of the "C'
Commercial District and added to the territory comprising said district
as defined by Section 5 of said Ordinance No. 3188, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such recommendations public notice has been
given by publication once each week in The Salina Journal, for not more
than.thirty days, the first publication thereof being on January 30th,
1926, as shown by the affidavit of said pbblication attached hereto,
of said proposed change and that a public hearing thereon would be
held.by the Board of Commissioners of said City at 5:00 P. PI. on Feb-
ruary 15th, 1926, and
WHEREAS at the meeting so held pursuant to said notice no object-
ions.to said proposed dhange were offered for consideration, NOW THiE S
FORE:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
— Section 1. That the following described territory in the City
of Salina, Kansas, togwit: Lots 31 and 42 inclusive, and Lots 43, 45,
47, 49, 51, 53, 55, 57 and 59 on Santa Fe Avenue in the grounds of the
Kansas Wesleyan University, an addition in said City be added to and
made a part of the "C" Commercial District as defined in Section 5
of Ordinance No. 3188 of said City and that theysame may be used for
the purposes designated in Section 10 of said Ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official City paper.
Introduced for first reading February 15th, 1926.

AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3188 by adding certain territory
to the "C" Commercial District as defined by Section 5 of said
Ordinance and permitting the use of said territory for the

WHEREAS,at the meeting so held pursuant to said notice no object-
ions to said proposed change were offered for consideration,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described territory in the City
of Salina, Kansas, to -wit: Lots 31 to 42 inclusive, and Lots 43, 45,
473 49, 51, 53, 55, 57 and 59 on Santa Fe Avenue in the grounds of
the Kansas 'Wesleyan University, an addition in said City, be added
to and made a part. of the "C" Commercial District as defined in
Section 5 of Ordinance No. 3188 of said City and that the same may be
used for the purposes designated in Section 10 of said Ordinance.
