3211 Funds for Water Works DepartmentAN ORDINANCE enlarging the revolving fund in the Water Works Department
and appropriating money from the Water Works Department
Funds for such purpose.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the revolving fund known as "The Water Works
Department Revolving Fund" as created by Ordinance No. 3207 in the
sum of $500.00 be and the same is hereby increased to $3000.00'which
shall be placed to the credit of the Superintendent of the Water Works
Department, out of which he shall pay the salaries and expenses of
said Department. Out of such revolving fund the said Superintendent
shall pay such incidental expenses as may arise in the conduct of
sAid Department; provided that no salaries, and no items of expense
in excess of $50.00, shall be paid out by him until after the vouch-
ers -therefor shall have been submitted to and approved by the City
Manager and the Director of $finance. For all monies paid out by
said Superintendent under the provisions hereof, he shall submit
vouchers to be approved by said officers; and the Board of Comm-
issioners of the City of Salina shall appropriate at their first
meeting on or following the 15th day and the last day of the calendar
month, from the.Water Wprks Department Fund, an amount sufficient to
keep said revolving fund up to $3000.00.
Section 2. That the sum of $2500.00,in addition to the $500.00
heretofore appropriated be and the same is hereby appropriated out
of any funds in the hands of the City Treasurer to the credit 6f
the Water Works Dppartment Fund the same to to credited to the Sup-
erintendent of the Water Works Department for the purposes mentioned
in Section One of.this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE enlarging the revolving fund in the Water Works Department
and appropriating money from the Water Works Department

the Water Works Department for the purposes mentioned in Section One of
this Ordinance.
