An Ordinance creating a revolving fund for the use of the Superintend-
ent of the Viater Works Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there by and there is hereby created in the Water
Works Department Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the City
of Salina a revolving fund to be known as the Water Department Revol-
ving fund in the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars which shall
be placed to the credit of the Superintendent of the Water Works
Department to be used by him as a petty cash fund fcr the purpose
of paying any necessary incidental expense which may become
necessary in the conduct of said Department, any payment from such
fund to be reported by the Superintendent to the City Manager and
approved by him the same as other expenses incurred in the operation
of such Department.
Section 2. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
out of the Water Works Department fund the Sum of Five Hundred
(500.00) Dollars for the use of the Superintendent of the Water
Department to be used by such Superintendent in tyre manner
provided for in Section One (1) of this Ordinance which shall be
accounted for as in said Section One (1) provided.
iJection 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its xu blication in the official City paper.
