An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of the Water Wgrks
plant of the Salina Water Works Company and appurtenances, and
for the fixtures, appliances and equipment of said Company as
fixed by the appraisers appointed for such purpose.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $605,082.00 be and the same is hereby
appropriated for the payment of the purchase price of the water works sys
and plant of the Salina Water Works Company end its appurtenances, as
fixed by the appraisers appointed for such purpose by the District Court of
the UniteddStates for the District of Kansas, the same to be paid out of
the funds now on deposit in the Fidelity National Bank and Trust Company
of Kansas City, Missouri.
Section 2. That the sum of x$11,500.00 be and the same is hereby
appropriated for the payment of the purchase price of the equipikent and
fixtrues and appliances of the Salina Water Works Company as fixed by the
appraisers appointed for such purpose by the District Court of the United
States f or the District of Kansas, $$1,524.69 of said sum to be paid out of
the funds now on deposit in the Fidelity National Bank and Trust Company
of Kansas City, D4issouri, and $9,975.31 out of the Water and Light Fund
of the Qity'of Salina,
Section 3. That the Director of Finance be and.he is hereby autho
rized to issue on or after January 1, 1926, warrants countersigned by the
City Manager upon the City 'Treasuner payable to. Stedman Ball, Special Masts
appointed by the District Court of the United States for the District of
Kansas, in accordance with the provisions of the order of said Rourt, for
the payment of the claims mentioned in Sections One and Two of this ordin-
ance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full fore
from and after its passage.

Be It Ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
