AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
a Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3241.06 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, from the Special
raving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of Estimate No. 1,
for materials furnished and labor performed in the construction of
paving imi,rovements in the City of Salina, Kansas, under contract
dated April 27, 1931.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before 90 days from date and to draw interest at the rate of four
and one-fourth per cent (44%) per annum..
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of SalinaV
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3241.06 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to R. J. Taylor Construction Company, from the
Special Paving Fiend in the City Treasury for the payment of Estimate
No. 1, for materials furnished and labor performed in the,construction
of paving improvements in the City of Salina, Kansas, under contract
dated gpril 27, 1931.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before 90 days from date and to draw interest at the rate of four
and one-fourth per cent (4j%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from`and after its passage.
