AN ORDINA.,!CE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
Kansas: of Salina,
Section 1. That the sum of $1965.88 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to Ray G. Tripp vonstruction Company, Herington,
Kansas, from the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the
payment of Estimate Number 1, for materials furnished and labor
performed in the construction of Lateral Sanitary Sewers Nos.
165 and 16i, under contract dated April 27, 1931.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before 90 days from date and to draw interest at the rate of four
and one-fourth per cent (41%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
