ORDINANCE NO. 4056
AN ORDININCE relating to the parking of vehicles on certain streets

in the City of Salina.
' BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

Section 1. That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person to I
park or cause to be left or 1�:arked any automobile or any other vehicle
on either side of Fifth Street between Ash Street and elm Street unless

such vehicle shall be parked parallel with the curb and with its right
side not more than one foot distant from such curb.
S ction 2. That the Chief of Police shall and he is hereby author-
ized a directed to designate and have marked t�:Io zones on each side
of each bl k on Santa Fe Avenue between Ash Street and Walnut Street,
and on Fifth,
between Ash Street and Iron Avenue, and one zone
on each side Street between iron Avenue and Walnut Street
with parking spaceseach of such zones for five cars, and after
such zones are designat and properly marked it shall ',e unlawful
for any person to park or1 ve, or to cuase, permit to direct to
be parked or left in any such ce in any such zone any automobile
or vehicle for more than 15 minute"at one time, between the hours
of nine o'clock A. M. and nine o'clocl��k. M.
Section 3. Any person who shall violate or cause, permit or direct
the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined
not more than :25.00 and not less than X2.00 for each offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect firom and after its
publication in the official city paper.
