State School Fund Commission, were, at sale duly advertised, purchased
by the Board of Commissl�ners of the City of Salina for the Firemen's
Relief Fund of the City of Salina as an investment for the surplus funds
of said Firemen's Relief Fund; NOV. THEHI,IFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be ar_d.there is hereby appropriated out

of the Firernen's Relief Fund i.n the hands of the City Treasurer the
sum of 4j9873.19 in pa--ment of the purchase price of certain bonds of
the par value of $9873.19 issued under the pro,isions of Ordinance No.
3996 of the Cita of Salina, and that the sum so appropriated be paid
and credited to the Flood Control Account in the General Fund of the
City of Salina.
Section 2. That the City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City
of Salina be and they are hereby authorized and diredted to make the
proper entries and transfers on their books to charge said amount to
the i''iremen's Relief i''und and to credit the same to the Flood Control
Account in the General Fund, as provided for in Section 1 of this
ordinance, and that said bonds, with the interest coup(,ns due on and
after December 1, 1931, be held by the City Treasurer as the property
of the Firemen's Relief Fund.
Section 3. This ordinance shalt take effect from and after its
passage.

AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of x¢9873.19 out of the Firemen's
Relief Fund for the purchase of certain bonds heretofore issued
by the City of Salina.
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 3996 certain bonds
of the par value of $9873.19 dated December 1st, 1930, were duly
issued and registered according to law, and
WHEREAS, said bonds having been duly registered, and rejected by
the State School Fund Commission, were, at a sale duly advertised,
purchased by.the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina for
the Firemen's Relief Fund of the City of Salina as an investment
for the surplus funds of said Firemen's Relief Fund; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
out of the Firemen's Relief Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer
the sum of 69873.19 in payment of the purchase price of -certain
bonds of the par value of $9873.19 issued under the provisions of
Ordinance No. 3996 of the City of Salina, and that the sum so
appropriated be paid and credited to the Flood Control Account
in the General Fund of the City of Salina.
Section 2. That the City Clerk and City Treasurer of the
