AN ORDINANCE relating to the parking of vehicles on certain streets
in the City of Salina,
BIT: IT ORD;,INED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person
to park or cause to be left or parked any automobile or any other
vehicle on either side of Fifth Street between Ash Street and Elm
Street unless such vehicle shall be parked. parallel with the curb and
.,ith its right side not more than one foot distant from such curb.
Section 2. That the Chief of Police shall- and he is hereby
authorized and directed to designate and have marked t, -.-o zones on
each side of each block on Santa Fe Avenue between Ash Street and
7-alnut Street and t.vo zones on Fifth Street between Ash Street and
Iron Avenue and one zone on each side of Fifth Street betv7een ron
Avenue and ".alnut Street with parking spaces in each of such zones
for five cars, and after such zones are designated and properly marked
it shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave, or to cause,
permit or direct to be caused or left In any such space in any such
zone any automobile or vehicle for more than 15 minutes at one time,
between the hours of seven o'clock A. M. and seven o'clock F. M.
Section 3. Any person ,riho shall violate or cause, permit or
direct the violation of any of the pro-,isions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and u -,.on con-iction shall be fined
not more than X25.00 and not less than X2.00 for each offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publicat.ion in the official city paper.

AN ORDINANCE relating to the parking of vehicles on 9 certain
streets in the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the pity of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any
person to park or cause to be left or parked any automobile or
any other vehicle on either side of Fifth Street between Ash
Street and Elm Street unless such vehicle shall be parked parallel
with the curb and with its right side not more than one foot distant
from such curb.
Section 2. That the Chief of Police shall and he is hereby

each side of each block on Santa Fe Avenue between Ash Street and
Walnut Street and two zones onFifthStreet between Ash Street and
Iron Avenue and one zone on each side of Fifth Street between Iron
Avenue and Walnut Street with parking spaces in each of such zones
for five cars, and after such zones are designated and properly
marked it shall be unlawful for any person to park or leave, or to
cause, permit or direct to be Uaused--or left in any such space in
any such zone any automobile or vehicle for more than 15 minutes at
one time, between the hours of seven o'clock A. M. and seven o'clock

Section 3. Any person who shall violate or cause, permit or
direct the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined
not more than $25.00 and not less than 02.00 for each offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
publication in the official city paper.
