AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3188, being an ordinance divid-
ing the City of Salina into zones or districts and regulating
and restricting the location of trades and industries, etc.,
and the uses of lands in each of such districts or zones, and
defining an additional Heavy Industrial District.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Salina
had recommended to the Board of Commissioners a certain change in
the zones or districts defined by Ordinance No. 3188, as amended,
as hereinafter set forth, and due notice thereof has been given as
required by law, and in the opillon of the Board of Commissioners
such change should be made, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That the following described land within the City
of Salina shall be and the same is hereby included in, added to
and made a part of the "E" Heavy Industrial District as defined
in Section 7 of Ordinance No. 3188, and said ordinance as amended,
and that such land may be used for the purposes designated in
Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 3188, to -wit: Lots 38, 40, 42
and 44 on Fourth Street, and Lot 41 on Fifth Street in Original
Town of Salina.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
