AIT ORDINANCE vacating certain alleys in Pleasant View Ad(l.i_tion in the
City of Salina, Kansas.
BlIT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the north and south alley sixteen feet in width
which lies between Blocks 1 and 2 in Pleasant Vie% Addition, being and
ltring ,-est of and adjacent to Lots 16 and 17 in Block 1 and east of and.
adjacent to Lots 1 and 2 in Mock 2 in said addition (except that portion
thereof which constitutes an intersection with the east and ,gest alley
in said T,locks) be and the same is hereby vacated, the land comprising
such alley to revert to and become a part of the lots on either side
thereof, in equal portions, provided however, that there is hereby
reserved to the City of Salina, a right of v,,ay or easement six feet
in width along the center of such vacated alley for sewer, water or
gas lines or telephone or electric light ,vires, i)o es or conduits.
Section 2. That the vrest 220 feet of t;he east and west alley in
Block 2 in Pleasant Vievr Ad_'_ition, lying south of and adjacent to
Lots 23, 25, 27 and 29, and lying north of and adjacent to Lots 24,
26, 28 and 30 in said Block 2 in said Pleasant Vier Adc`i+-ion be and
the same is hereby vacated, the ground comprising such portion of
said vacated alley to rel-ert to and become a 'part of the lots lying
on either side tt:ereof in equal portions.
Section 3. That that portion of the fourteen foot alley or public
highway lying west of and adjacent to Lots 29 and 30 in Block 2 in
rleasant View Addition be and the same is hereby vacated, the ground
comprising such vacated alley to revert to and become a part of said
Lots 29 and 30 adjacent Cher -to, said alley having been wholly dedi-
cated by the owner of such lots in the platting of said addition.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and bein force from
and after its I-:ublication in the of "icial city paper and after a co -1-y
of this ordinance with the proof of ;ublication thereof, certified by
the City Clerk has been recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds
of Saline County, Kansas.

ORDINANCE NO. 4033
AN ORDIN__NCE vacating certain alleys in Pleasant View addition in the
City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:.
SECTIOI? 1. That the north and south alley sixteen feet in width which
- -lies between Blocks .1 and 2 in Pleasant View Addition, being and ly-
inf^"aest of and adjacent to Lots 16 and- T7 in Block 1 and east of and-
ad,jacent'to Lots 1 and 2 in Block 2 in said addition (except that
portion thereof which constitutes an intersection with the east and
west alley in said blocks) be and the same is hereby vacated, the
land comprising such alley to revert to and become a part of the
lots on either side thereof, in equal portions, provided however,
that there is hereby reserved to the City of Salina, a right of way
or easement six feet in width along the center of such vacated alley

poles or conduits.
SECTION 2. That the west 220 feet of the east and west t.11ey in
Block 2 in Pleasant View Addition, lying south of and adjacent to
Lots 23; 25; 27'and 29; and lying north of and adjacent to Lots 24
26, 28-L d 30 -in said Block tin said Pleasant View Addition be and
the same is hereby vacated, the ground comprising such portion of
said vacated ,alley to revert to and become a part of the lots lying
on either side thereof in equal portions.
SECTION 3. That that portion of the fourteen foot alley or public
highway lying :rest of and adjacent to Lots 29 and 30 in Block 2 in
Pleasant View Addition be and the same is hereby vacated, the ground
comprising such vacated alley to revert to and become a pa.r.t of said
Lots 29 and 30 adjacent thereto, said alley having been wholly; dedi-
cated by.the owner of such lots in the platting of said addition.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper and after a copy
of this ordinance with the proof of publication thereof, certified
by the City Clerk has been recorded in the office of the Regis.ter of
Deeds of Saline County, Kansas.
