BE IT ORDnINED by the Board of Comt-issioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. `What the sum of �878.0�'be and the same is hereby
appropriated to Lock Joint Pipe Company of Kansas City, i:"issouri,
from the Special Sewer r'und in the City Treasury for the payment
of Final Estimate for furnishing and delivering reinforced concrete
f:ipe for drainage work from Second and Republic to 'Third and Craw-
ford Streets in the Cit; of Salina.
Section 2. `That a Temporary Note of the Cil.lr of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section 1 of
this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before 10
days from date and to draw interest at the rate of 4ti rer cent
ger annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage,

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 6878.00 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to Lock Joint Pipe Company of Kansas
City, Missouri, from the Special Sewer Fund in the City
Treasury for the payment of Final Estimate for furnishing and
delivering reinforced concrete pipe for drainage work from
Second and .Republic to Third and Crawford Streets in the
City of Salina.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be.issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section 1 of this ordinance,; said Temporary Note_to be'payable
on or before f10 days from date and to draw interest at they
rate of 42 per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
