AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 421,783.42 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the Special
Sevier Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of Final estimate,
for materials furnished and labor performed in the construction of
Storm Selvers Nos. 17 and 18, under contract dated April 7, 1930.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the pa-ment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temp-rary Note to be payable 6n or before
thirty days and to dray: interest at 412 per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
