AN ORDINANCE relating to the appropriation of private property for
the opening, widening and extending of North Street east of
the intersection of North Street and Santa Fe Avenue.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That it is deemed necessary by the Board of Com-
missioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, to appropriate certain
private property in the City of Salina for the purpose of opening,
widening and extending North Street in said city, east of the inter-
section of North Street and Santa 1�e Avenue, the land. to be appro-
priated to consist of a part: of Lot 23, Block 10, Calkins Addition,
described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 23 thence east
to the southeast of said lot; thence north 12..5 feet; thence north-
westerly in a straight line to the northwest corner of said lot;
thence south to poi_, -t of beginning; and that the City Engineer be
and he is hereb7 ordered and directed to make a survey and description
of the land necessary to be apl_ropriated for such purpose and file
the same ,.rith the City Clerk on or before September 29, 1930.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect frcr; and after
its publicaticn in tine official city pater.
