AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and
other purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas for the gear
1931.
BE I`1' ORDAI�,ED by the Board of Co=issioners of the City of Salina
Kansas:
Section 1. `That the sum of 11.81 mills on the dollar be
and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed
property of whatsoever kind or nature within the City of Salina,
Kansas for the year 1931 for the purposes hereinafter set forth
and aprortioned and divided as follows:
For General Revenue ------------------------- 4.4965
For Memorial Hall Fund ----------------------- .099
For the purpose of raising funds for the maintenance
of a Fire Department and for the purchase of equip-
ment----------------------------------------- 1.24
For Band Fund --------------------------------
For General I--provement Fund -----------------
For Library Fund -----------------------------
For Sinking fund -----------------------------
For paying General Bonds and Interest --------
For annual installment and Interest on Bonds
issued to pay for the improving and raving of
squares and areas formed by intersection of
streets--------------------------------------
For Sewage Disposal Fund --------------------
For Airport Fund ----------------------------

Section 2. That valuation of the property upon which the
foregoing taxes are levies and assessed be in all asest aken
from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office of
the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be
the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Salina, nansas,
immediately upon and after the passage of this ordinance and
on or before the 25th day of August 1930 to transmit a duly
certified copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County,
Kansas, so that the lev, may be placed upon the tax roll and the
taxes collected according to law.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its publication once in the official city
paper.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioner's of the City of Salina
Kansas:
