AN ORDIYAI�CE vacating certain streets and alleys in the City of Salina,
Kansas:
BE IT ORDAINED bir the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Russell Avenue in the City of Salina, between
the east line of Fourth Street and the we�_t line of Osborne Street,
abutting upon Lots 1 to 20 Lrclusive on Russell Avenue in the Addition
to the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, be and the same is hereby
vacated.
Secticn 2. That the east and west alley, lying between and
parallel with Russell Avenue and Cloud Avenue, from the east line of
Fourth Street to the vest line of "sborne Street, abutting upon
Lots 29 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 on Cloud Avenue, and upon
Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 on "ussell Avenue, in the
Addition to the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University, be and the same
is hereby vacated.
Section 3. That the east and crest alley, lying; betwee and
parallel with Russell Avenue and Claflin Avenue, from the east line
of Fourth Street to the west line of dsborne Street, and abutting
upon Lots 2, 4. 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 on Russell Avenue,
and Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 on Claflin Avenue,
in the Addition to the Grounds of the Kansas Wesleyan University,
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 4. That the north and south alley, lying between and
parallel with Second Street and Third Street, from the north line of
Fine Street to the south line of North Street, and abutting ul;on
Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 on Second Stre,=t and upon Lots
1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 15 and 17 on Third Street, in the original
town of Salina, be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 5. That upon taking effect of this ordinance the ground
lying within the streets and alley vacated by the preceding sections
hereof shall revert to and become a part of the lots lying upon either
side thereof in equal portions subject to the right of the City of
Salina to reopen the same in the manner and under the conditions pro-
vided buy law.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
after its rublication in the official city paper and after a certified
copy of this ordinance .ith proof of publication thereof in filed for
record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline Uounty, Kansas.
