AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the `'ity of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1.
That the sum of $440.54 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund in the
City Treasury for the payment of Final Estimate, Job No. 57-A for
materials furnished and labor performed in the construction of
pa ing improvements on Third Street from Iron Avenue south to the
Smoky Hill River, under contract date May 5, 1930.
Section 2. ghat a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
1 of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
60 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and
one-half per cent (4/!) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
