AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Oity of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $18,775.08 be and the same is here-
by appro.- riated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund
in the City Treasury for the payment of 851� of Estimate Number 4,
Job 571 for materials furnished and labor performed in the con-
struction of paving improvements in the City of Salina, Kansas,
under contract dated April 73, 1930.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section 1
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
GO days from date, and to draw interest at the ra`e of four and
one-half per cent (420) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $18,775.08 be and the same
is hereby appropriq►ted to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving
Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of Estimate
Number 4, Job 57, for materials furnished and labor performed
in the construction of paving improvements in the City of Salina,
Kansas, undcx contract dated April 7, 1930,
Section 2. _ That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
1 of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before `.60 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of
four and one-half per cent (420/6) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
