AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain

claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. 'That the sum of $1,950.97, be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from
the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for th,
payment of

851/'�)' of Estimate Number 1, for material furnished and labor per-
formed in the construction of Storm Sewers No. 17 and 18, prior
to July lst, 1930, under contract dated April 7, 1930.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
I Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 90 days from date, and to draw interest at
the rate of four and one-half per cent (42) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

for the payment of 85% of Estimate Number 1, for material
furnished and labor performed in the construction of
Storm Sewers No. 17 and 18, prior to July 1st, 1930,

Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim
mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said
Temporary Note to be payable on or before. 'days from
