ORDINANCE NO. 3921
AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $543.90 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Flood Vontrol rand in the
City Treasury for the payment of Estimate Nu„.ber 4, for labor
performed in the construction of Dry Creek Flood Control improve-
ments prior to July 1, 1930, under contract dated March 10, 1930.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the Oity of Salina,
i Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 90 days from date, and to draw interest
at the rate of four and one-half per cent (42d) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
