AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating parking of vehicles on certain
Portions of Santa Fe Avenue in the City of Salina, and providing
a penalty for the violation of this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That two thirty minute parking zones for five cars
i each, be and they are hereby established on each side of Santa Fe
Avenue in the City of Salina, between Ash Street and Elm Street.
The City Manager and Chief of Police shall locate and mark such
zones, and thereafter it shall be unlawful for any person, firm
or corporation to
p park or leave or to cause or permit to be parked
or Left,_ within any such zone . from. the hour of seven o'clock A. M.
to s.even.o'clock P. M., any vehicle for more than thirty minutes at
any one time.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation, or any agent,
servant or employee thereof., who shall violate or cause, direct or
permit the violation of any provision of this ordinance shall be
fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) or more than Ten Dollars
010.00) for each offense.
3eetion 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
