AN ORDINtiNCE making an appropriation from the funds of the �ater
Deti_artment for the purchase of a Temporary Note of the City
of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED 1-y the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $56.47 be and the same is hereby
appropriated from the funds of the Water Department of the City of
Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor
Construction Com -(any of a Temporary Note of the City of Salina
issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Company in the sum of
X56.47 as authorized by Ordinance No. 4270 passed and approved
June 5th, 1933, said note to be held as part of the Sinking Fund
of the 'ryater Department and either exchanged for bonds of the City
of Salina, of like amount or exchanged for cash at the time bonds
are issued in payment of the cost of paving improvements under
contract dated April 11th, 1933.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance t?e and he is
hereby authorized to issue a ,r,,arrant to H. J. Taylor Construction
Company, countersigned by the City Manager u,on the City Treasurer
in payment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned
in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its pasFage.

AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the funds of the Water

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
