4268 AppropriationsORDINANCE NUMBER 4268 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the funds of the Water Depart- ment for the p-rchase of a temporary note of the City of Salina. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Cite of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of 411,237.34 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the funds of the 'dilater Department of the City of Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor Construction Company of a `temporary Note of the City of Salina issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Company in the sum of 411,237.34 as authorized by i i Ordinance No. 4267 passed and approved June 5th, 1933, said note to be held as part of the Sinking Fund of the Water Department and either ex- changed for bonds of the City of Salina, of like amount or exchanged for cash as at the time bonds are issued in payment of the cost of paving improvements under contract dated March 1st, 1933. i Section 2. That the Director cf Finance be and he is hereby I authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, I � countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer in payment i of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance.
