4258 Appropriations4#1 ORDINANCE NO. 4258 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriati-n from the funds of the Water j Department for the purchase of a temporar7 note of the City of Salina. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of X279.17 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the funds of the Water Department of the City of Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor Construction Company of a Temporary Note of the City of Salina issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Co -pang in the sum of $279.17 as authorized by Ordinance No. 4257 passed and approved Ma,,r lst, 1933, said note to be held as part of Sinking Fund of the %ater Department and either exchanged for bonds of the Cita of Salina, of like amount or exchanged for cash at the time bonds are issued in payment of the cost of paving improvements under contract dated April 11, 1933. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Tat,lor Construction Company, countersigned by the CityManager up n the City Treasurer in pay- ment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
