4245 AppropriationsORDINANCE NO. 4245 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the funds of the Water Department for the purchase of a temporary note of the City of Salina. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Citir of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of $4,898.80 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the funds of the Water Department of the City of Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor Con- struction Company of a Temporary Note of the City of Salina issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Company in the sum of 64,898.80 as authorized by Ordinance No. 4244 passed and approved April 3rd, 1933, said note to be held as part of the Sinking Fund of the Water Depart- ment and either exchanged for bonds of the City of Salina, of like amount or exchanged for cash at the time bonds are issued in payment of the cost of curbing, guttering and paving improvements under con- tract dated March 1st, 1933. i Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby 1 authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer in payment i of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance. Section 3.
