AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of X4,898.80 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of
Estimate No. 1, for furnishing all materials, supervision, tools,
equipment and supplies in the construction of paving improvements
prior to April 1, 1933, under contract dated March 1, 1933.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or
before 90 days from date and to draw interest at the rate of four
(4%) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
