AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Sal'na,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of X23,981.82 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Paving Fand in the City Treasury
in payment of the following claim:
City of Salina, Water Department Temporary Notes numbered
1-2 and 3, and interest
on same - - - - $23,981.82
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
