AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of $23,750.04 out of the Water-
works Fund for the purchase of certain bonds heretofore issued
by the City of Salina.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Sedtion 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
out of the Waterworks Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer the
sum of $23,750.04 in payment of the purchase price of certain bonds
of the par value of $23,377.47 and accrued interest to September 15,
1932, issued under the provisions of Ordinance Number 4205 of the
City of Salina, and that the sum so appropriated be paid and credited
to the Paving Fund account of the City of Salina.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized
to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager upon the City
Treasurer for the payment of the amount mentioned in Section One
(1) of this ordinance, and that the City Clerk and City Treasurer
of the City of Salina be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to make the proper entries and transfers on their books to charge
said amount to the Waterworks Fund and to crerit the same to the
Paving Fund as provided for in Section One (1) of this ordinance,
and that said bonds, with the interest coupons due on and after
May 1st, 1933 be held by the City Treasurer as the property of the
Waterworks Fund of Salina, Kansas.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
