Salina _ Journal L 4 AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas for the year 1933. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the sum of 8.6470 mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed property of whatsoever kind or nature (except intangible property otherwise taxed or assessed according to law) in the City of Salina, Kansas, which is a city of the first class having a population less than 40,000 for the year 1933 for the purposes hereinafter set forth and apportioned and divided as follows: For General Revenue 1.6135 mills. For Park Fiend .1952 mills. For ''pater, Light, Heat and Power Fund 1.619 mills. For Fire Department Rind, for maintenance of fire department and for purchase of equipment, 1.2181 mills. Memorial Hall Fund, for maintenance of military memorial .086 mills. For Sewage Disposal Fund, for maintenance and operating sewage disposal plants, .1718 mills. For General Bonds and Interest Fund 1.25 mills. For paving intersections bond fund, for annual installments of interest on bonds issued to pay for the improving and paving of squares and areas formed by the intersection of streets and alleys 1.3278 mills. For Library Fiend .33 mills. For Band Fund .1093 mills. For Airport Fund, for purrose of purchasing, equipping, improving, operating, maintaining and regulating airport .039 mills. For Sinking Fund, to pay bonds becoming due in the future, .082 mills. For General Improvement Fund, .6053 mills. Section 2. That valuation of the property upon which the foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assessment rolls of the present year in the office of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be the duty of the Citir Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, immediatel-r upon and after the passage of this ordinance and on or before the 25th day of August, 1932, to transmit a duly certified copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy may be placed upon the tax roll and the taxes collected according to lava.
