4185 Pool & Billiard Hall LicensingORDINANCE NO. 4185
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3821, relating to
the licensing and regulation of pool and billiard halls,
and repealing said original Section 3 of said ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3821, relating
to the licensing and regulation of pool and billiard halls, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 3. No surety bond, as heretofore required to be
filed before any such license is issued, shall hereafter be re-
quired, but in addition to the manner, as hereinafter provided
for in this ordinance, in which licenses issued under this ordinance
may be revoked, and in addition to the causes for which any such
license may be revoked, anylicense at any time issued under the
provisions of this ordinance may at any time be revoked by the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina if in the opinion
of the Board of Commissioners any such licensee conducts or causes
or permits the pool or billiard hall so licensed to be conducted
in a disorderly manner, or in violation of any of the provisions
or regulations contained in this ordinance, provided, that any
such licens.ee.shall.be entitled to a hearing before the Board of
Commissioners before any such license shall be ordered revoked
under the provisions of this section."
Section 2. That original Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3821
be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
after its publication in the official city paper.
