AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,500.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the General Improvement Fund in the
City Treasury for the payment of the following claim:
Geo. Duncan, Administrator, For purchase of certain land for
the widening of North Street,
near Santa Fe Avenue puravant
to Ordinance No, 4157.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is here-
by authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage.
