AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation from the funds of the Neater Depart-
ment for the purchase of a temporary note of the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $19,900.88 be and the same is hereby
appropriated from the funds of the eater Department of the City of
Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor Construe -
tion Company of a temporary note of the City of Salina issued to said
H. J. Taylor Construction Company in the sum of 419,988.33 as authorized
by Ordinance 4144 passed and approved on April 4th, 1932, said note to be
held as part of the Sinking Fund of the '{rater Department and either
exchanged for bonds of the City of Salina, of like amount or exchanged
For cash at the time bonds are issued in payment of the cost of Storm
Sewers No. 10-A and 14.
Section 2. That the director of Finance be and he is hereby author-
ized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, counter-
signed by the City Manager, upon the City Treasurer in payment of the
purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section 1 of this
ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
