AN ORDINANCE amending sub -section 17 of Section 9 of Ordinance No.
4120 relating to gas pipe and piping for natural or artifi-
cial gas and the r'ittings, ddvices and connections appurtenant
thereto, as amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4126 and repealing
said original sub -section as amended.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Doard of Commissioners of the City of Sal3_na,
Kansas:
Section 1. That sub -section 17 of Section 9 of Ordinance
No. 4120, as amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4126 be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
11(17) The point of connection of any pilot light pipe
vrith any furnace fuel line shall be not less than four feet (4)
from the gas opening or burner, and all those hereafter installed
shall be on the outlet side of the valve on the furnace supr..ly pipe
as required by sub -section tti%elve (12) of Section wine (9) of this
ordinance; provided that this sub -section shall apply only to burners
having an aggregate gas consumption of more than 60 cu. ft. tier hour
and that the valve to be install-ecrour feet (4) above the floor as re-
quired by sub -section t,.elve (12) of Section 9 of Ordinance No. 4120

60 cu. ft. per hour."
Section 2. That original sub -section 17 of Section 9 of
Ordinance No. 4120 as amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4126
be and the same is hereby repealed and that said Section 2 of
Ordinance No. 4126 be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and. be in
force from and after its purlication in the official city paper.
