i AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the a rro riation
fer of certain unexpended balances or and trans -
portions thereof, in certain
funds or sub -divisions or departments of the General Fund, to an
account designated as the Unexpended Balance Account of the General
Fund, and authorizing and directing the transfer of certain amounts
from said Unexpended Balance Account to certain other subdivisions
of the General Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the unexpended balances or portions thereof existing
in certain funds or departments or sub -divisions of the General Fund as
of December 31st, 1931 in the following amounts:
Administration and Finance Department 120^.00
Police Department 2000.00
Street Department 1000.00
Park Department 1000.00
Water and Light Fund 2000.00
General Bonds and Interest Fund 5000.00
Sewer Fund 841.07
Paving Fund 1295.59
all aggregating the total sum of $14,336.66, be and they are hereby trans-
ferred to a subdivision of the General Find designated as the Unexpended
Balance Account and that out of such Unexpended Balance Account be trans-
ferred to the following funds, or subdivisions of the General Fund, the
following amounts to take care of the deficits occurring in such funds
as of December 31st, 1931:
City Court Find 1337.66
Flood Control Fund 6420.00
Swimming Pool 399.72
Milk Inspection Department 14.12
all aggregating total sum of $8171.50, and the City Treasurer and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entries in
their books as of December 31st, 1931, transferring said amount as herein-
above provided for.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
