AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of $1,010.69 from the Hillcrest
Endo,•:,ment Fund for the purchase of United States Government
Bonds.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas;
Section 1. That the sum of 01,010.69 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the funds now in the City Treasury to
the credit of the Hillcrest Endowment Fund, which has been paid
in in accordance with the pro-,isions of Section four (4) of con-
tract between The Mausoleum Builders Corporation of Wichita, Kansas,
and the City of Salina, dated September 4th, 1928, for the purpose
of purchasing from Planters State Bank of Salina, Kansas, United
States Government four and one-fourth (4-1/4%) per cent Bonds of
the par value of $1,010.69 wit# accrued interest thereon, said
bonds when purchased to be held by the City Treasurer of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 2. That the Director of Vinance be and he is here-
by authorized to issue a warrant for the amount mentioned in the
foregoing section, drawn upon the City treasurer and countersigned
by the City manager, for the purpose mentioned in the foregoing
section.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
