AN ORDINANCE amending sub -section thirteen (13) and sub -section
seventeen (17) of Section Nine (9) of Ordinance No. 4120
relating to gas pipes and piping for natural or artificial
gas and the fittings, devices and connections appurtenant
thereto and repealing such original sub -section of said
ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas: i
Section 1. That sub -section thirteen (13) of Section Nine
(9) of Ordinance No. 4120 be and the same is hereby amended to read
as fo lows:
"(13) All Nalves used in gas piping shall be of the ground
seat type, except the master salve required to be installed on the
inside of the casement wall, trrhich shall be a gro-,nd core valve."

as follows,

Section 3. That the original sub -section thirteen (13) and
sub -section seventeen (17) of Section Nine (9) of Ordinance 4120 be
and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
