AN ORDI_I:1;NCE vacating a portion of the north and south sides of hntrim
Avenue from the west line of Ninth Street to the west city lim'ts
of the City of Salina.
BE 1T ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, V-ansas.

SAction 1. 'That the south ten feet of Antrim Avenue and the
north ten feet of Antrim Avenue as now existing, wh ch street is now
80 feet in width, from the west line of Ninth Street to the west city
limits of the City of Salina, being 860 feet more or less west of the
west line of Ninth Street ',e and the same is hereby vacated, exEepting
however that portion thereof, which constitutes the intersections of
said strips of land with Tenth Street and Eleventh Street, and the
alleys running north and south through, and extending north from Blocks
47, 48 and 49 in Military Addition, and running north and south through,
and extending south from, the east block of Heimold's Addition and
the alley running north and south between 15lock 2 of `tucker i ark and
`he west block of Heimbold's Addition and extending south therefrom;
the portions of said street hereby vacated being more particularly
described as folloti-s.
Commencing at the intersection of th-iest line of ninth Street
with the south line of "ntrim Avenue, being the northeast corner of
Lot 20 in Block 47 in Military Addition; thence west along the south
line of t'ntrim Avenue 860 feet more or less to the inter•secticn of said
line il!ith the west city limits in the City of Salina, such po°nt being
the northwest corner of Lot 19 in Block 49 in Military Addition; thence
north along said west city limits 10 feet; thence east 860 feet more or
less along a line parallel with and 10 feet north of the south line of
Antrim Avenue to the intersection of said line �-!ith the west line of
Ninth Street; thence south 10 feet to the -�oint of beginning, except
the intersection of streets and all-eys as hereinabove provided for;
the land so vacated being the south 10 feet of said "ntrim Avenue
lying immediately north of and adjacent to Lots 19 and 20 in Block
47, Lots 19 and 20 in Block 48 and. Lots 19 and 20 in Block 49 in Military
additicn, and that the lard so vacated as last described shall revert to
and become a part of said logs adjacent thereto as provided by lav-.
Also com,iencing at the intersection of the west line of Ninth
Street ith the north line of "ntrim Avenue being the southeast corner
of Lot 42 in Heimold's A,Idition; thence west along the north line of
A„trim Avenue 860 feet more or less to the west city limits of the Citi,.
of Salina; thence south along said city limits 10 feet; thence east
along a lire parallel with and 10 feet south of the north line of nntri--
Avenue 860 feet more or less to the west line of Ninth Street; thence
north 10 feet to the point o1' beginning, except the intersections of
streets and alle77s as hereinabove provided for, the land so vacated

to and become a part of said lots adiacent thereto as
provided by law.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper and after
a copy thereof, duly certified by the City Clerk, wi`h the proof of
such publication, is filed and recorded in the office (,f the Register
{ of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas; provided that the cost of such
publication and recording shall be paid by the persons ,,Those property
abuts upon that portion of said street so vacated.
