AN ORDINANCE relating to and limiting the parking of vehicles on certain
streets in the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Chief of Police shall and he is hereby
authorized and directed to designate and have marked one Zone on

each side of Iron Avenue between Fifth Street and Santa Fe Avenue

and one zone on each side of Iron Avenue between Santa Fe Avenue
and Seventh Street, with parking spaces in each of such zones for

three cars, and after such zones are designated and properly marked
it shall be unlawful for any Gerson to park or leave, or to cause,
permit, or direct to be parked or left in any such space in any
such zone any automobile or vehicle for more than fifteen minutes
at one time, bdtinreen the hours of 9 o'clock A. M. and 9 o'clock P.M.
Section 2. No vehicle shall re parked on Iron Avenue between
Fifth Street and Fourth Street, for more than two hours at one time
between 7 o'clock it. M. and 7o'clock P. M.
Secti^n 3. Any person who shall violate or cause, permit or
direct the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined

not more than 025.00 and not less than §2.00 for each offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its publication in the official city paper.
