S�lina_ journal - An An Ordinance making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes in the City of Salina, Kansas for the year 1932. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of 5alina,-'ansas : I Section 1. That the sum of 11..5487 mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby levied on all real, personal and mixed I property of whatsoever kind or nature (except intangible property otherwise taxed or assessed_ according to law) in the City of 5alina, Kansas, which is a city of the first class having a popula- tion less than 40,000, in a county having an assessed value of less than $62,0000000.00, for the year 1932 for the purposes hereinafter set forth and apportioned and divided as follows: i For General Revenue 2.2317 mills. For Park Fund .357 mills. For Water, Light, Heat and kower Fund 1.666 mills. For Fire Department Fund, for maintenance of fire department and for purchase of equipment, 1.312 mills. For Memorial Hall. Fund, for maintenance of memorial, .091 mills. For Sewage Disposal Rand, for maintenance and operating sewage disposal plant, .217 mills. For General bonds and Interest Fund 2.643 mills. For paving intersections bond fund, for annual installments of interest on bonds issued to pay for the improving and paving of squares and areas formed by the ince~°section of streets and alleys 1.072 mills. For Library Fund .4 mills. For Band Fund .295 mills. For Airport Fund, for purpose of purchasing, equipping, improviAg, operating, maintaining and regulating airport, .444 mills. For Sinking rand, to pay bonds becoming due in the future .078 mill For General Improvement rand .741 mills. Section 2. That valuation of the property upon which the foregoing taxes are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assessment rolls of the T esent W ar in the office of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas and that it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, innediate- ly upon the passage of this ordinance and on or before the 25th day of August 1931 to transmit a duly certified copy of the same to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy may be placdd upon the tax roll and the taxes collected according to law.
