AN 0RDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation of
a certain amount from the Paving Fund to the Waterworks
Fund, to take up and pay a certain Temporary Note, issued
in payment of certain paving work, and which was purchased
b- and held in the sinking fund, or Investment Account of
the Waterworks Department.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated

and transferred from the Paving Fund in the City Treasury, to the
Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury the sum of $201,800.37, in
I
payment of a certain temporary note heretofore issued in payment
t
of certain paving work, and which temporary note was heretofore
purchased by and held in the Sinking Fund, or Investment Account
I
of the Waterworks Department, and which temporary note is now
to be redeemed and paid out of the funds which have been paid
into said Special Paving Fund from special assessments levied
for the payment of the cost of such work, and from allotment made
by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, said
temporary note with the interest thereon being as follows:
Note No. 9, dated July 3, 1934 $20,326.10 Interest $474.27
Section 2. That the City Treasurer and City Ulerk are hereby
authorized and directed to make the proper entries in the books
transferring said amounts as hereinabove provided for.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
