4496 Pool and Billiard Table Licenses422 ORDINANCE NO. 4496 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3821 relating to the licensing of pool and billiard tables and payment of license tax therefor and repealing said original Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3821. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section. 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3821 of the City of Salina be and the same is amended to read as follows: "Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to have, keep or maintain, for hire or profit in any place in the City of Salina, billiar or pool tables, without first securing a license therefor as in this ordinance provided, and paving a license tax on h all such tables in the fol o JJJ g amounts: For the first table, 18.75; for the second table, $11.25; for each additional table, $7.50; Such cense when issued shall be fora period of six months, and shall expire on the last day of June or December next after the same is issugd, and shall be non -assignable and non transferable, and shall be i. -sued op,ly to individuals and not to corporations; provided that the license tax herein made payable shall be based upon each and every billiard and/or pool table kept or maintained In place of business for which such licenses is paid unless such table is actually dismantled and rendered unfit for use as a billiard or pool tablet" :rection 2. That original Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3821 be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect fPom and after its publication in the official city paper.
