AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of $508.90 from the Hillcrest
Endowment Fund for the purchase of bonds to be held in the
Investment Account of such fund.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $$508.90 be and the same is hereby
appropriated out of the funds now in the City Treasury to the credit
of the Hillcrest Endowment Fund, which has been paid in accordance
with the provisions of Section Four (4) of contract between the
Mausoleum Builders Corporation of Wichita, Kansas and the City of
Salina, dated September 4th, 1928, for the purchase of Bond Number
65, of the issue of Refunding Bonds dated January 10 1934, with the
accrued interest thereon to this date, said bond being now owned by
the City of Salina, Kansas and subject to sale, and to be held after
such purchase in the investment account of such fund.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant for the amount mentioned in the fore-
going section, drawn upon the City Treasurer and countersigned by
the City Manager, for the purpose mentioned in the foregoing section.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
