4446 Appropriations302 ORDINANCE N0, 4446 BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Sal'na, Kansas: i Section 1. That the sum of $625.64 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the funds of the 17ater Department of the City of Salina in the City Treasury for the purchase from L. C. Ahart, Contractor, of a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, issued to said L. C. Ahart, Contractor in the sum of $625.64 as authorized by Ordinance! No. 4445 passed and approved Au mst 6th, 1934, said note to be held as part of. the Sinking Fund of the Water Department and exchanged for cash at the tire bonds are issued in payment of the cost of side- walk construction under contract dated June 25, 1934. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant to L. C. Ahart, Contractor, counter- signed by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer in payment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordi,- ante. Section 3. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant to L. C. Ahart, Contractor, countersigned by the City IJanager upon the City Treasurer in payment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance. Section 3.
