That the sum of 519,345.11 be and the same is hereby I appropriated from the funds of the eater Department of the City of Salina in the City 'Treasury for the purchase from H. J. Taylor Con- struction Company of a Temporary Note of the City of Salina issued to said H. J. Taylor Construction Company in the sine of ��19,345.11 as authorized by Ordinance Number 4443 passed and approved Au,-ust 6th, 1934s said note to be held as part of the Sinking Fund of the %later Department and exchanged for cash at the time bonds are 4_ssued in payment of the cost of paving improvements under contract dated May 3, 1934. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, countersigned by the City Manager upon the City Tre&3urer in payment of the purchase price of the temporary note mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
